About

A quiet, comfortable psychotherapy consulting room based in East Hill, Wandsworth, SW18

I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist based at East Hill near Wandsworth Town, London, SW18. I first qualified as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist before completing a second training as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. Each of these qualifications were at post-graduate level and I achieved both from WPF Therapy in London Bridge.

Combined, these extensive trainings allowed me to gain a great deal of experience working with people both in once-weekly therapy, and with those who required more intensive therapy. This experience helped me to appreciate where once-weekly psychotherapy is most effective and to identify when more frequent appointments are beneficial.

I am qualified to offer counselling, psychotherapy, and psychoanalytic therapy to individuals on a one-to-one basis. This means I offer sessions on a weekly basis, or more frequently, where helpful. While a great deal can be achieved in once-weekly psychotherapy, some people find that meeting more frequently offers greater depth of understanding and exploration. Either way, my approach is broadly psychoanalytic.

Once arranged, therapy takes place at the same time each week. Each session lasts for 50 minutes. It can be helpful to have a brief telephone conversation prior to arranging your first session. You can contact me here to arrange your first session or make an enquiry.

Appointments are available Mondays to Fridays, from 8am with the last appointment beginning at 7pm. My fee is £75

I am a professional member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy & Counselling (FPC) which is the professional body for WPF Therapy graduates. I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and am governed by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) code of ethics.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is the UK’s leading professional association and accredited public register for psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The BPC register of therapists is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
